We've been out and about today with some of our lovely clients taking photographs for use on the website etc. Thank you to everyone who took part especially the clients. Rebecca, Sharon, Chloe & Joanna played their parts exceptionally well and Tom, who was taking the photographs, managed to find everywhere too!😀 Thanks also to the office team for organising. Quite a successful day all in all. Let us know what you think!⭐🌸🌸🌸⭐

Two very different images to share tonight...

One shows Agne's creation for client KD's early tea after a social visit this afternoon! Agne's salad looks delicious and get a huge thumbs up from us and the client👍👍👍.

The other shows Joanna's exhaust in the boot of her car! Joanna is on-call tonight and while on her way to a visit her exhaust fell off and was dragging along the road. She rang The AA UK and within half an hour she was back on the road with her exhaust in the boot and the remaining bits zip tied to the car! Joanna, sounding like a 'boy racer', then continued her journey! 🤣🤣 Huge thank you to the AA man whose running repair kept Joanna on the move.

Just two, well maybe three, very different demonstrations of people who 'care' going above and beyond. Enough said I feel!⭐⭐🌸🌸

The WINNERS this month are Beth & Rebecca who received the same number of nominations each. Beth for her teamwork and for being just 'wonderful' and Rebecca for being such a natural and a 'stand out performer!'. ⭐⭐🌸Congratulations and well done to you both! 🌸⭐⭐

And so we come to the end of another six months and the announcement of our ⭐⭐Super Star⭐⭐ for the period ending September 2025.
Eryn seems to have featured in a lot of posts recently and here she is again! Eryn has perfectly demonstrated the STAR qualities we look for and approaches each and every call with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Eryn’s ability to build trust with clients and their families has been truly inspiring. Whether supporting daily routines or simply offering a listening ear, Eryn consistently shows empathy and reflects the Blossom qualities (Passionate, Respectful, Caring, Patient & Confidence) perfectly. Eryn is a true Super STAR!

We've been out and about quite a bit this week. Aside from the huge number of care calls we've delivered we've also been to three new care assessments across various points of our patch. We do work in a scenic area though so there's been some lovely views to admire along the way! Except yesterday of course when it never stopped raining! Much brighter today though🌸🌞🚗 🌸

I heard one of the commercials from this campaign on the radio yesterday so thought I'd just research the background to it. The Alzheimer's Society have created this campaign to raise awareness as just 8% of people think that dementia is the UK’s biggest killer, and only a quarter of people are confident that they understand dementia and how it affects people. In my opinion this campaign certainly does that and more. Here's the TV version of what I heard...

Meet Betty, the Fiat 500 we took delivery of today (with a little help from our friends at Drive Darlington). Betty will help us ensure carers can get to their visits even when their own car is off the road (indeed she's already out and about doing just that!). Next step, to get her some Blossom branding so that, when you see her out and about across the North East, you can give her a wave 👋🌸🚗
