Tree Topper of the Month for the month of July 2025 πŸ‘‘

No matter how small, every little step counts. It could be the smallest of things such as learning to swim, ride a bicycle, fastening a button/zip or shoelaces, managed to do your homework, hop, skip, tidy up....anything but we want to know.

Each child entered will receive a certificate because every child is a winner in our eyes. The Tree Tops Team want to recognise all our children's achievements and boost their self-esteem. It is incredibly important to do so. If you want your child to remain anonymous, that is absolutely fine too, just let us know.

The winner will be crowned 'Tree Topper of the Month' and added to our special board in Reception.
Now get posting or messaging or email and we will be in touch!

PS Your child can remain anonymous if you wish 🀫

One of our Tree Toppers had a fantastic session focused on problem solving and ideation (creating a process of generating, developing and communicating). This was to help him prepare for the responsibilities of secondary school. πŸ«πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«

He had to collect keys, undo padlocks, and match rings to the correct cones. However, he had to do all of this by moving between the swings without touching the mats and by thinking of unique ways to travel through the hoops.

We were blown away by your creative thinking! πŸ€”πŸ˜„

You will be amazing in your new school!

The Tree Tops team.

Sizzling summer sensory hacks! 🌞

Going on a journey with an SPD child can be quite challenging. They are suddenly thrown into airports, train stations, crowded cafes which all throw out different smells, bright lights, announcements from a tannoy. πŸšŒπŸš˜πŸš‰βœˆ

To help make the journey smoother, take a look at some of our tips.

Remember!
Pulling a suitcase or carrying a bag will aid regulation.

Our Story

Tree Tops has been developed with great foundations in the knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques of children and adults. Our therapists have extensive knowledge into conditions such as DCD, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Attachment Disorder, and Sensory Processing Difficulties. Post graduate training in Sensory Integration has allowed us to introduce this specialised treatment to children and adults on a daily basis to develop their underlying difficulties.

Tree Tops work with many schools, charities and voluntary organisations. We can provide valuable training and programmes which helps with gross/fine motor skills, handwriting, building self-esteem, confidence, behaviour and perception.

Fizzwig (our mascot) and the Tree Topper teddy bears are a vital part of our organisation and go on many adventures with the children or help them with their programmes. Check out our website to see what they all get up to!

We also have a private sensory parent support group which you are more than welcome to join. Here is the link:- https://www.facebook.com/groups/spdpsg/ . A youth group has also been set up which is run through a secret page. If you would like more information please email our office.
