Sacred Oil Head Massage is a signature session designed to guide you into deep relaxation, bliss, and nervous system regulation. Working with plant allies and sacred oils, this experience gently restores balance to both body and mind and combines techniques taken from Indian and Tibetan head massage; this session becomes a deeply grounding and nourishing journey. A sacred oil is more than just a blend of plant extracts,it’s an oil that’s been created, prepared, and used with intention, ritual, and reverence.
Traditionally, sacred oils are made from plants, resins, flowers, and roots and carry both physical and energetic properties. These oils are often infused slowly over time, with prayer, meditation, or specific ceremonial practices, to honour the spirit of the plants themselves.
What makes an oil “sacred”?
Plant allies: Ingredients are chosen not just for scent, but for their energetic and healing qualities
Intentional preparation: Crafted with care, in ritual or meditative states
Ancient roots: Inspired by traditions from cultures such as Indian, Tibetan, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern practices
Energetic connection: Used to support grounding, cleansing, anointing, and emotional balance
In many ancient traditions, oils were infused with resins like myrrh and frankincense, known for their deeply grounding, purifying, and spiritual qualities. These were used in ceremony, healing, and sacred rituals for thousands of years in the Myrrhophore tradition.
Sacred oils are often applied through gentle, mindful touch on the scalp, temples, back and face to encourage relaxation and nervous system regulation, deepen meditation or inner stillness; creating a sense of connection to self and nature.
At their heart, sacred oils are about slowing down, reconnecting, and inviting intention into the body by turning something simple into something meaningful.
