Last autumn, I gathered a bundle of sacred mugwort growing quietly near my allotment. I dried it with care, knowing its ancient protective power, yet unsure of the form its magic would one day take. I already had mugwort for saining, a bundle tied by my doorway for protection, and some in the campervan for the same intention… and still this small harvest rested on the shelf, waiting.
Today, the knowing arrived. Sacred smoke has always been part of my healing work, yet in my treatment room it cannot be used because of the fire alarm. Since I got my room, I’ve wondered how to honour that missing piece of ritual. And then it came to me…I could alchemise this beautiful mugwort into a tincture, created in sacred space, held in healing intention, and a little time, I’ll transform into an energy spray to bless and protect each session.
Those who have received healing with me will know how deeply I honour the ways of our ancestors, the plants of this land, the old ways, those silenced and rooted magic that remembers us.
And so, here it is, the start of the magic medicine, so all who have a session with me can be bathed in protection, healing and love ✨♥️
A little bottle of earth-born magic, which soon will be ready to serve ✨✨✨
