We would like to thank all of our wonderful patients for the support we have had over these last two weeks. Easter is the busiest time in our year with two short weeks back to back but we have dispensed over 8000 prescriptions in the last eight days - a phenomenal achievement!

We might not always get it right 100% of the time but there are many factors that we cannot control such as when wholesalers don't deliver what they promise or items being out of stock.

However, one thing you can always rely on with us is that we will try our hardest to deliver the best service we possibly can!

Today is a very proud day at Bewick Pharmacy as our latest apprentice Jess has received the news that she has qualified as a Pharmacy Dispenser!

We are all so pleased for Jess and look forward to this next phase of her career (and she’s looking forward to the pay rise!)

Happy birthday to us - we are 14 today!! We opened all the way back in 2012 - where has that time gone??

We would like to thank all our patients, supporters and friends for your loyal custom over the years!

This year we will be expanding our clinical services led by our amazing pharmacists Jasmine and Adam and supported by our brilliant technicians and dispensers so keep your eyes and ears open! From blood pressure checks to travel vaccines and lots more in between, we are ramping up our offering as well as striving to offer the best customer service around.

Did you know….

If you are 40 or older and not taking any medicines for high blood pressure, our team will be offering you a free blood pressure test. We have only been offering this for a few weeks but we have identified more than a dozen patients who have uncontrolled high blood pressure who had no idea!

If you are eligible, we will be asking you when you collect your next script so take those additional few minutes - it might just save your life!

We need your help! We heard from a loyal patient yesterday that he had his nomination changed to another pharmacy in the area from us. He didn't understand why this had occurred so phoned us yesterday to ask why! We would like to hear from anybody else that this has happened to so we can understand why this is happening!
