So excited to announce that my first ever deck of Body Positivity Affirmation Cards are now available!

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and truth is they’ve been ready since September!

But the old pesky mind monkeys kicked in and I sat on them! Why? This was a really useful workshop last year, to help change our mindset about winter.

I'm very excited to be running this again at the weekend, to coincide with the clocks changing and the nights drawing in...

We will start with a seasonal meditation, to really set the scene and hopefully highlight the best of these coming months and work through the workbook together to help create a vision for the coming winter that will keep us in balance and able to focus on the aspects you love.

The second workshop will be creating a vision board, and is optional as an added extra.

This is £10 to attend both sessions, and you will find the workbook you need over in the group (follow the button at the top of the page). Parents of current students are welcome to attend free of charge, as a thank you for your continued support 🧑

So whilst I've been quiet over here, I've been busy over there and have found a way to link everything together! Whether you're looking for support for yourself or your family this is where it'll all come together.

Do you want to know why should you join my Learning a New Way's parent group?

Ok, so I've not made a huge song and dance about it, and in all honesty, small and cosy suits me just fine, but my group has been in the pipeline for months!

And as with the service I provide to my students I wanted this to be a little different. Or rather, I wanted it to actually be beneficial to parents with school age children. I know that as a busy, working mum I don't always take the best care of myself, and I know how much harder that makes 'the juggle'. So this group serves as a reminder to me too!

But, I'm also aware that many of my students (and children in general) have other issues going on; anxiety, lack of self esteem, negative mindset... And so I want to be able to show you ways to help support them with that.

It's almost a way to tie in all the bits of everything I do, and ultimately the main focus will be on wellbeing. Yours first and then your family's. (With the summer challenge running in there too, because I'm still a tutor!)

I will be accepting all requests tomorrow morning (Sunday), but please send a join request now to ensure you won't miss a thing!

I think we can all appreciate that this autumn and winter may feel longer and more isolating than any we've experienced before.
