You don’t have to be religious to feel the weight of a prayer.

Since I was a little girl, lighting a candle in a place like this has been a tradition — not now for me from religion, but from LOVE.

Standing in the quiet of Sacré-Cœur, once again ❤️🇫🇷 surrounded by flickering flames and centuries of whispered hopes — I lit a candle. Not out of faith in a particular belief, but out of love.

For the ones no longer here.
For the grief that doesn’t have a neat place to go.
For the moments where all you can do is hold a small flame and think of someone.

There’s something quietly powerful about sacred spaces.

They hold your silence without judgment.

They remind you that you’re not the first to stand somewhere with a heavy heart, and you won’t be the last.

If you ever find yourself in Paris, step inside. Let it move you — whatever that means for you. 🕯️

I lost my brother when I was a little girl. 🤍

That kind of loss doesn’t leave you. It shapes you. It lives in your body, your heart, the parts of you that you sometimes can’t even name.

It wasn’t until much later — as an adult, going through my own season of healing — that I really began to process what I’d been carrying.

That is when the angels showed up.
I don’t mean that metaphorically. I mean signs, synchronicities, moments that were too precise to be coincidence. A full on, unmistakeable nudge from something greater than me saying: this is your path.

That path led me to Angelic Reiki and it led me back to Usui Reiki with a depth I hadn’t known before.

Reiki has helped me heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It has helped me remember who I am. It has helped me stand in love rather than fear. To trust my intuition. To know — really know — that no matter what, all will be okay.

I share this not for sympathy but because I know some of you reading this are carrying something heavy right now. I want you to know: healing is possible. In ways you might not even be able to imagine yet.

That’s why I practise and even more so why I teach. 🌙
