Lip Filler Do’s & Don’ts 💋

Getting lip fillers can give beautiful results, but aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. Here’s why these tips matter:

✅ Do’s

👩‍⚕️ Choose a qualified professional – safety first, always.

📝 Follow aftercare instructions – this reduces risk of swelling or infection.

💧 Stay hydrated – hyaluronic acid fillers work best when your body is well hydrated.

🤕 Expect mild swelling/bruising – this is normal and usually settles within a week.

🖊️ Book a follow up – ensures results are even and natural-looking.

❌ Don’ts

🍷 Avoid alcohol/caffeine straight after – they thin the blood and worsen bruising

🏋🏻‍♀️ Skip the gym for 24–48 hrs – exercise raises blood flow and can increase swelling.

💄 No lipstick for 24 hrs – lowers risk of bacteria entering injection sites.
