I loved running my Introduction to Canine Massage course last year at Puppy Plus so… I am back again🤩 3 spots left so be quick!! 🐾🐶
Massage can be a great way to support our dogs’ physical wellbeing. Gentle, well-applied massage can help to improve circulation, support muscle recovery after exercise, reduce tension in the body and help maintain flexibility as dogs move through different stages of life.
But the benefits often extend beyond the physical. Touch can also help many dogs relax and settle, supporting their nervous system and encouraging a sense of safety and calm. For some dogs this can improve sleep, reduce restlessness and help them recover more easily after exciting or stressful events.
Learning how to massage your own dog also gives you the opportunity to become more familiar with their body, noticing small changes in muscle tone, movement or comfort levels early.
We are running an introduction to canine massage workshop on Sunday 10th May, which will include;
• An introduction to canine massage
• Basic anatomy, including how to locate bony landmarks, identify muscles and understand their function
• Six Swedish massage techniques that can be safely used with dogs
• A simple massage routine that you can practise with your own dog at home
Date: Sunday 10th May
Time: 9.30am – 1.30pm
Price: £65 (with your dog)
We also have a small number of spectator places available for £45 if you’d like to attend and learn without bringing a dog.

This will be a really interesting morning for anyone who would like to better understand their dog’s body and learn some practical techniques to support relaxation, comfort and overall wellbeing.
Dogs may be asked to wait in the car during the introductory part of the session if possible, while Amy talks through the foundations before we begin the practical work.
