The Game Change Project -not for profit organisation The Game Change Project helps young people gain life skills, confidence and training

We provide life skills programmes which help young people develop their confidence and self belief so that they can thrive and reach their true potential. Our unique experiences combined with proven coaching techniques literally "bring learning to life". Young people who are struggling in a traditional classroom environment can experience the power of non verbal communication by working with horses; learn practical skills like digger driving, mechanics and off road driving, develop problem solving and team working strategies and practice their skills through community volunteering. We link with local businesses as mentors and people from the community as volunteer supporters. The project is located in a beautiful part of rural mid Wales where the countryside, nature and fresh air are a tonic in themselves. Our team building, leadership and self development workshops for adults help fund our core work with young people.

This might be unpopular, but exposing kids to risks actually helps keep them from getting hurt! 😡

If you don’t expose your kids to challenging or seemingly dangerous things, they won’t know how to handle them.

When they encounter those things β€” sharp things, hot things, heavy things, tools β€” they’re much more likely to get hurt, because they don’t understand how those things work.

A child who’s been taught to handle a knife is going to be safer with that knife than a child who’s never taught how to use one.

Protecting your kids at every turn might feel like the safest route, but the real safety comes from kmowledge.
