Tonight we hosted a truly beautiful wellbeing evening, funded through Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and the Larne Area Community Cluster.

This gave us the opportunity to warmly welcome the wider community in and share what’s on offer within our space.

A heartfelt thank you to Drumalis Retreat, to Sue McBride Yoga for leading a calming yoga session, and to Laura from Soul Harmony Energy and Sound for an incredible sound bath experience that brought real relaxation to everyone who attended.

We were also delighted to showcase our therapeutic walled garden — a space that continues to grow as a place of peace, reflection, and connection. Thank you to all the champions who help create this space.

Last week we had a lovely afternoon at the Carrickfergus Community Forum with the women’s group, exploring the mental health benefits of aromatherapy essential oils. Together, we created our own shower steamers and bath salts — perfect for helping them unwind into this weekend.

Last night we hosted our second Woven Stories evening 🤍
Over 30 women gathered together for food, a beautiful cacao ceremony, and stitching—such a powerful space of connection and creativity.

What an incredible night. Thank you to everyone who came, who made the food, and helped create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
And a special thank you to and for being part of it!

To conclude our Mixed Media workshops, we spent the final session painting our nature-inspired clay pieces.
It was wonderful to see everyone’s creativity come to life, and our arch is now beautifully decorated with artwork made by the community.
There was plenty of tea, great conversations, new connections made, and lots of new skills learned along the way. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the workshops so special!

We had a lovely Mindfulness Session at Carrickfergus Community Forum this week.

Participants enjoyed a variety of relaxing activities including embroidery, mindfulness colouring, and decorating stones, alongside acupuncture and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to support wellbeing.

A relaxing, calming session with lots of creativity and connection. Thank you to everyone who came along!
