If you can arrive on foot it is advisable to do so - if you need to arrive by car you can access the car park at the McDonalds entrance. We will do our best to make sure you can find your way in to the surgery - these works however, were unfortunately beyond our control. We thank you for your patience in the interim.

Respiratory illnesses such as flu, COVID-19 and RSV can be serious, even for some healthy people.

The PHA, is urging everyone in the eligible groups to get ready for winter by taking up the offer of free vaccination when invited.

As we begin the last phase of works between Farmley Road and Glenwell Road, please be advised that the Farmley Road entrance to Farmley Car Park will be closed for approximately 8 weeks. Alternative access to the car park will be available via Glenwell Road.

As these works continue, we would like to remind everyone that all businesses operating in this area including the medical centre and pharmacy remain open as normal.

We would like to thank you for your patience as this regeneration work is in progress.

We are running a shingles vaccine clinic on Thursday 18th September. If you have yet to have your vaccine and fall into one of the eligibility criteria (see below) or if you would like to check your eligibility, please contact the surgery and speak to one of our receptionists.

From September people aged 18+ with a severely weakened immune system will be eligible for the shingles vaccination.

Currently the vaccine is available to those who are aged 65 and 70 on 1 September in addition to people aged 50 and over with severely weakened immune system. But from 1 September 2025, anyone who is aged 18 and over with severely weakened immune system (sometimes known as severely immunosuppressed) will be able to get two doses of the Shingrix vaccine.
