This restorative practice is an invitation to recover, replenish, and soften. So many of us move through life in a constant state of doing, giving energy outward, pushing through exhaustion, and ignoring the quiet signals from the body asking for rest. Over time, this can leave us feeling depleted, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or simply disconnected from ourselves.
What we often call adrenal fatigue rarely arrives all at once. More often, it builds gradually through stress, emotional overload, lack of nourishment, poor rest, or carrying too much for too long. The body is deeply intelligent, and when it has been running on empty, it will always try to get our attention.
This evening is not about fixing yourself or forcing healing. Jill believes that everyone should feel great in their bodies, no matter their age or fitness level.
Having experienced the benefits of Pilates for herself, she is an absolute believer in the life-changing, mind-body benefits of Pilates and the philosophy that ‘movement heals’.
A student of the Polestar Pilates teacher training, Jill was drawn to their approach due to their integration of Pilates with advanced movement science and physical therapy principles. This approach focuses on positive movement experiences by restoring the body’s natural, fluid mobility.

Her aim as a teacher is to encourage more awareness of how we move, making for a happier body inside and out.
Jills Comprehensive training included all pilates apparatus: Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Barrel, and Mat.
Jill teaches group classes as well as 1-2-1 sessions all of which aims to help clients feel realigned, calm and empowered.
In this beginners mat Pilates series, you will explore the mind-body connection through gentle, functional movements to help whole body mobility.

My question to you?, Do you have anxieties, worries, grief or unhappy past events that no matter how much you tell yourself that they are unreasonable, they still effect you or shape your present life. Do these thoughts make you stay in a state of anger, despair or act in a certain way to those close to you or do they shape every decision you make.?

Well most of us move through life carrying unseen baggage. The mind, wired to predict and protect, gathers our past hurts, disappointments, and challenges, and projects them forward, shaping a future that hasn’t even happened yet.
What looks like fear of the unknown or future is often unhealed history quietly influencing the present.
In or Restorative yoga we will find supported stillness and we may begin to touch into a different state, not one shaped by fear or past experience, but one of quiet presence… of appreciation… of gratitude… of simple being.

Today’s restorative practice is an invitation to listen with the heart, not just the head.

So often we live in the mind, thinking, analysing, solving, while the body quietly waits to be heard. In this practice we gently guide awareness down from the busy mind into the heart, chest, and belly.

The mind creates structure, but the heart offers wisdom, softness, and connection. When we listen from the heart, life can feel kinder, calmer, and more spacious.

As you rest, tune into breath, sensation, and stillness. No need to figure anything out here ,simply receive.
