When someone says, 'I cant drink too much water as keep 'pee-ing' it out'....check minerals (see further below), check fatty acids (they make the cell membrane along side a few other fats and proteins)...the cell needs good cell membrane ingredients to take that water in and hold it...after all the intracellular and extracellular fluid is made up of mainly water.

It is supposed to be. heat wave weekend...waiting for it to happen..

Remember sugared drinks and alcohol dehydrate so you will need even more water.

I am reposting this, as it has proven helpful time and again. ..use Himalayan salt, use the cell salts, . When you sweat you also lose minerals, it is not just water.

Hydration, electrolytes, are vital (see the tonic ingredients)...non toxic sun block, i.e. no cancer causing ingredients..

Your skin is your largest organ, if you are still covering it in toxic sun block lotions/potions and get skin cancer or any other cancer, check the ingredients of the sun block.
Toxic free sun screen below.

Some remedies to help if you get a bit carried away with the sunshine....prevention is always better than trying to cure.

Enjoy! 😎☀️🔥

In animal models, Boswellia (Boswellia serrata) has shown positive effects on suppressing tumour activity due to its anti-proliferative, anti-inflammatory, and pro-apoptotic properties. Previous trials have indicated that a suitable biomarker for an end-point evaluation for breast cancer is the proliferative marker Ki-67.

In an open label trial (n=18, plus a matched control group of 18, median duration 11 days, range 5 to 23 days) conducted in the US, patients with invasive breast cancer were treated pre-operatively with Boswellia extract (2400 mg/day) until the night before surgery. Eligible patients were aged ≥ 18 years and had a histological confirmation of stage I, II, or III invasive breast cancer with primary tumour(s) ≥ 1.0 cm. The extract contained up to 35% boswellic acids: acetyl-alpha boswellic acid (8–14%), acetyl-beta- boswellic acid (17–25%), and acetyl-11-keto-beta boswellic acid (AKBA, at least 10%).

Comparing the core biopsy with the excision tissue, proliferation (assessed by staining with Ki-67 antibodies) increased by 54.6 ± 21.4% in the control group, compared to a decrease of 13.8 ± 11.7% in the herbal group (p = 0.008). The authors concluded that Boswellia extract reduced the proliferation of tumour cells in patients with breast cancer and was well-tolerated in this Phase Ia window of opportunity trial.

This is the first clinical evidence that high doses of the herb Boswellia can actually suppress tumour growth in a real-world situation in cancer patients and represents an exciting development in herbal therapy.

The High street is a dog eat dog world!!

On one hand you have small independently owned store such as ourselves who take great risks in entering the High Street against the conglomerates and titans such as Tesco’s, Starbucks, Costa Coffee etc who have enough backing and cash to throw up premises where they want, spend what they want and ultimately deliver a dividend to some faceless stock holder somewhere. That’s why they can carry loss making store just to remain visible on the High Street.

But as a consumer you have a choice. Choose well!

Is the coffee out of a drive through made with the same love and attention as it is in the independent?

Is the product as good?

Or indeed with the likes of Tescos do they really need to put in a Costa coffee dock into a small town like Comber where there’s a few fantastic independents offering hand crafted coffees and not just some bean to cup dispenser?

Do they quality check their product daily like we do?

Do they buy the best beans and not the cheapest?

Do they fill their sandwiches with fresh, quality ingredients daily?

Do they make their sandwiches to order?

Do they really pay their way in taxes or do they use their might and clever accounting to avoid capital gains taxes like we’ve all been told?

So many questions and not one answer points to quality.

Yes, of course they can be cheaper. It’s the nature of the beast. Their buying power dictates it. But and if you really care it’s a big but… is it better? Or is it just simply more convenient?

That’s why at Sugarcane and I’m sure the other cafes, restaurants and coffee shops in the area that are locally owned and operated will agree, we the independents focus on buying great produce, not the cheapest, the tastiest produce, not the cheapest, local produce, not the cheapest.

That’s why at Sugarcane we quality control things daily.

That’s why at Sugarcane we care for our customers.

That’s why at Sugarcane we invest in training.

That’s why at Sugarcane our coffee is better.

Choose wisely! Shop locally in independent stores which Comber has many. Choose Comber.

Why did I choose to sell products from Weleda?

1. My family and I are on a journey of making our lives more natural. From what we use on our skin to what we clean the house with.

2. I'm conscious that as a family with a history of cancer we need to help our bodies and not fill them with toxins.

3. I want to sell a product with a clear conscience, knowing that it will not harm anyone using it or the environment.

4. The ethos of the company resonated with me. They believe in planet, people then profit. They work with the land and the rhythms of the moon to cultivate the most beautiful plants and use those active ingredients to make the most powerful natural products.
