***EXCITING NEWS - VENUE CHANGE ***
A message from Lynsey

As many are already aware, I’m delighted to share that I’ve now taken over the Wednesday morning group at St Mark’s Parish Centre, Church Street, from my lovely colleague Nicola who has retired her scales.

In case you didn’t attend last week or couldn’t stay to group, it was announced that after much thought, this means…

📅 Tuesday 18th November will be our final evening 5.30pm & 7pm groups at First Ards Presbyterian Church

Please help spread the word!

✨ From Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th November, ALL my Slimming World groups will be under one roof at St Mark’s!

📍 NEW VENUE:

***SEE WHAT ST. MARK'S MEMBERS ARE UP TO THIS WEEK***

Apple cinnamon 'cake' for breakfast today.
40g oats, 1 egg, 100g fat free Greek yoghurt (or ff yoghurt of choice), 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp sweetener (optional), 1/2 tsp cinnamon (or more if you love cinnamon lol!!), 1/2 an eating apple peeled and chopped, a drizzle of vanilla essence (optional).
Mix well, spray an oven proof dish with frylight, stick it on airfryer 160 for about 15 mins.
Toppings - I used more ff Greek yoghurt, more apple, some blueberries and more cinnamon!
Perfect for a chilly fri 😋

NEW to the Slimming World food range this week 😍. Pick yours up at the Newtownards store in Ards Shopping Centre.

Eight new products have landed in the freezers at Foods and Food Warehouse! From the Marry me chicken pasta 💍 to our Free Food Festival-winning Indian meatballs and rice 😋, there’s something for everyone – including delicious plant-based options like Mushroom stroganoff with rice and Pea & asparagus.

Just leaving Kilkenny after a lovely few days on our Irish road trip. First and foremost people are so friendly and helpful, in the hotel, in pubs and restaurants, in shops, on the street...
We learned about Kilkenny's history, toured the 13th century Kilkenny Castle and gardens and walked down 'The Parade'. We also visited Butler House and Garden, the charming Dower House of Kilkenny Castle built in 1786 and did a bit of damage in the Kilkenny Design Centre. We stayed in and would recommend the Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel and their restaurant Ember which we ate in on night one. Also a big shout out to Langtons Hotel Bar Restaurant for a great dining experience last night - the decor, the service, the food and the entertainment all 10 out of 10. And we went to Cakeface which mum had seen on YouTube - she's now an influencer!!

When I see the sun 🌞 it makes me look forward to the summer - getting my summer clothes out of the 'glory-hole' and wondering what will fit 🤔

If you live in the Ards area and Wednesdays suit you, call down tomorrow- that 1st step is always the hardest - but in a month's time you will thank yourself you did it!!
