This video takes us back to when it all began and reminds us why our charity exists: to support people, start conversations, and show how sport can shape and support people on their road to recovery. 💛 🥊

Just thought I’d share this again — so if you haven’t seen it yet, why not take a few minutes to watch.

One week to go! 💃🕺

Let’s get behind all the contestants taking part in this fantastic event, raising money for a number of chosen charities.

A special mention though for Jo and Geoff, who have kindly chosen us as their nominated charity. 💛

Please show them your support. Just imagine putting yourself in their dancing shoes — completely out of their comfort zone, never danced before, and rehearsing like mad to put on a performance, all with the aim of raising money for us.

So please click on the link below and help support them every step of the way.

Someone’s life may depend on you being the person who reached out and offered support.

Simple words of compassion like:
“Are you ok?”
“How have you been feeling?”
“I’ve noticed you haven’t seemed yourself lately — is everything ok?”

You may be surprised by the response you get when you genuinely check in on someone and let them know they matter.

A small conversation, a moment of kindness, or simply listening could make more difference than you realise.

Please reach out to someone today. It could save a life.

As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to an end this weekend, I just want to say how fantastic it has been to see so much activity across social media, with people coming together to raise awareness and show their support.

A special thanks must go to our friends at Tamhi Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues, who this year have provided sports clubs with absolutely amazing resources, making it so easy for clubs to get involved and spread the message.

TAMHi are one of the leading organisations in Northern Ireland promoting mental health awareness.
While they initially started working with sports clubs, they have since expanded their reach into schools and other organisations.
More recently, they have also been campaigning to raise awareness around violence against women, showing the incredible variety of work they are undertaking in our communities.

So, well done to Joe and all at TAMHi from the SPORTS MHNI Team.

All at SPORTS MHNI wish Jordan all
The best and if he ever needs additional support please get in touch.
