Due to essential maintenance on our telephone system, our surgery phones may not be operational for part — or possibly all — of the day. ⏳

At present, we are unsure how long this work will take.

🏥 The surgery will remain OPEN, and patients are welcome to attend in person as usual.

📱 An emergency contact number will be provided when you call the surgery number. Please note, this is for urgent GP attention only on the day. 🚑

We’re pleased to share details of this upcoming Neuro Café in the Ards/North Down area.

A great opportunity for parents and carers of children with autism or ADHD (including those awaiting assessment) to access support, information, and connect with local services. There will be information stalls, workshops, and light refreshments available.

Eligible patients will be contacted regarding this vaccine very soon.....

The life-saving RSV vaccination programme is to be extended to include all those over the age of 80 from 1 April 2026.

People who have not yet received an RSV vaccination and are over 80 will be invited by their GP practice.

The existing RSV programme offers vaccination to:
• residents in care homes for older adults
• adults turning 75 years
• adults aged 75 to 79 years when the programme began
• pregnant women (to protect their babies after they are born)

🔧 Building Improvements at Church St Surgery 🏥

You may have noticed that we currently have building work taking place at the surgery.

This forms part of a significant investment in our premises to ensure the building is fit for the years ahead. The work is expected to continue until September and will include extensive modernisation throughout, as well as the creation of additional clinical rooms.

These new spaces will allow us to expand our team and provide care from a wider range of professionals, including mental health practitioners, social workers, and physiotherapists.

We appreciate that there will inevitably be some disruption while this work is ongoing, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities and services for all our patients.
