EDIT - Power Restored, no further disruption anticipated. 😅

Unfortunately there will be interruption to the clinic this afternoon due to a power cut in Newtownards. NIE are in the process of identifying and correcting the issue and hope power will be restored sometime this afternoon. We are trying to contact affected patients. This also means the phone is out of service.

UPDATE: Most roads now reopened. Conway Square still cordoned off.

Currently there are road closures in place around the town centre. Mill street from Conway square to gibsons lane is closed. Gibsons lane is currently accessible from the other end of Mill Street (the hospital direction). We remain open but suggest leaving longer for your journey and parking today. Air quality is also very poor in the area.

We are currently dealing with a fire in the area of Conway Square in Newtownards Town centre. NIFRS are at the scene.

As a result, there are a number of road closures in the town centre as we continue to deal with the fire and investigate the circumstances.
