The Knack

The Knack is a strong and short contraction of the pelvic floor, timed just before and during your sneeze of cough. Maintain the tension in the pelvic floor whilst you sneeze or cough.

This way, your pelvic floor will absorb the pressure build up that happens during a sneeze or cough, and your bladder will stay happy and under control.

Another great tip is to rotate your head to your right or left shoulder to immediately decrease the pressure on the pelvic floor.
