Our first meet up is next Tuesday 19th May from 7pm until 8:30 at The Dickleburgh Crown (private room). Whether you are diagnosed or just wondering if you are an ADHDer please feel free to attend.
Whilst not essential, it would be great if you could let us know if you are thinking of coming so that we know how many cups of tea and coffee we may need.
If anyone wants to attend but feels nervous, send a PM and we will make sure that make you feel at home.

What is the right environment for you, that means you can thrive rather than survive?

Some days with ADHD feel like you’re juggling 37 tabs in your brain… and someone keeps playing music you didn’t choose.

If you’re a woman with ADHD, you might have spent years being called “too much,” “too forgetful,” or “not living up to your potential.” But the truth is, your brain isn’t broken—it’s just wired differently in a world that wasn’t designed for it.

You are not lazy.
You are not failing.
You are adapting every single day in ways most people don’t even see.

Be gentle with yourself today. Celebrate the small wins (yes, even replying to that one message counts). And remember—there are so many of us out here who get it 💛

We are looking to launch a new, friendly peer support group for ADHD women in the South Norfolk/Suffolk area.

A calm, supportive space to connect with others that understand.

Think coffee and a chat - no pressue, just genuine peer support.

Depending on interest we are aiming to meet twice a month.

To find out more or register your interest, contact ADHD women South Norfolk or email WomenwithADHD@outlook.com

Hi, I am Tracy. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2023. Great that answered a few questions for me but there was no support or guidance as what to do with that diagnosis, so in true ADHD style I have spent a lot of time learning as much as I can.
I have 20 years of experience working in education and am a qualified life coach with a specialism in ADHD. Currently I also work with young people many of whom are neurodiverse.
I want to help people understand that we don't have a disorder, we just have a brain that doesn't really like the way society wants it to work. So, Rachel and I wanted to offer a safe space for a peer support group for ADHD women.

Hi I am Rachel. I am 52 years old and have a diagnosis of ADHD. My background is in Adult Social Care and Psycotheraputic Counselling and I have experience in working with young adults with neurodiverse conditions. I am originally from Essex but now live near Diss. since being here I have noticed that there are very few services or support groups on offer and people are often socially isolated. I feel that it is important for people to have a safe space to meet, tak and access support and hence the group was born.
