Sunday is a great day to set positive intentions for the week ahead 💫
I like to spend a few moments on a Sunday thinking about how my week has been, what made me feel happy and energised, what made me feel sad or frustrated and how do I feel in my mind and body?
After reflecting on my past week I then think about what I want more of and what I want less of? I then set my intentions for the coming week ♥️
Here are my tips for setting your intentions;
♥️ Keep It Simple
• Choose one to three clear intentions instead of a long list.
• Example: “Move my body daily,” “Drink two litres of water daily’’, “Finish module 3 of my studies and submit for marking’’ or ‘Stay present in conversations’’
♥️ Write Them Down
• Put them where you’ll see them: journal, planner, sticky note, or set a phone reminder.
♥️ Connect to a Feeling
• Ask yourself: How do I want to feel by Friday? (grounded, productive, balanced, happy etc).
♥️ Revisit and Adjust
• Midweek, check in: Am I living my intentions?
