Please see the below guidance from the British Islamic Medical Association regarding the porcine content of the nasal flu spray vaccination.

We do offer two types of flu vaccinations:
- The Nasal flu spray - contains porcine gelatin
- The Flu injection - does not contain porcine gelatin.

Please see below to learn more about the new chickenpox vaccination:

We're launching a chickenpox vaccination programme which will protect around half a million children each year.

From January 2026, eligible children will get an MMRV vaccine to protect against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.

Eligibility will be announced in due course.

The HPV vaccine is given to boys to help protect against a range of cancers, including head, neck and mouth cancers.

All boys born after 1st September 2009 who missed their vaccination can catch up at their GP practice until their 25th birthday

The Meningitis ACWY vaccine is routinely offered to pupils in Year 9.
If you're unsure whether your child has received it, please contact us on 01924 310133 to check.
We can arrange clinic appointments for any child still attending secondary school.
For those who have left school, the vaccine is available through your GP until the age of 25.
