We’re very proud to announce our new partnership with Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation!
Novus Health is now the Principal Partner of Women & Girls Rugby League, supporting opportunities for girls across the Wakefield district to grow, develop and thrive through sport.
From providing equipment to supporting the Emerging Player Pathway with specialist staff, we're committed to helping more young people stay active, confident and connected.
If you spend a lot of time typing or using your hands for repetitive tasks, you might feel stiffness or tingling, which are common signs of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Try this simple exercise: Finger flicks & fist pumps!
These movements help improve circulation and reduce stiffness, keeping your hands feeling flexible and strong.
Take a quick break and stretch it out

We’re beyond proud to share the inspiring journey of Sufyaan, who first joined us in 2022 as a final-year physio student and has since grown into a talented and compassionate Physiotherapist within our Wakefield service.
From day one, Sufyaan embraced our culture of learning, teamwork and patient-centred care. Guided by incredible mentors across the Novus Health team, he has built a strong foundation in clinical practice, supported new graduates, contributed to in-service training, and made a meaningful impact on both colleagues and patients.
Beyond the clinic, he has continued his work in professional sport—balancing his role with Novus Health while supporting player rehab with York Knights.
Sufyaan has been lucky enough to be offered his dream job of Head Physio in Super League for York Knights.
As he moves on to his next chapter, we want to thank Sufyaan for his dedication, warmth and professionalism. He has been a valued member of our team, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves next. Good luck Sufyaan 🏆
Whether you’re improving your fitness, mental wellbeing, or daily habits, remember this:
Consistency builds results far more than perfection does.
A 10-minute walk counts. Drinking one more glass of water counts. Taking a break counts.
Keep going, little habits add up.

Top Tip Thursday 💪
A little stretching goes a long way!
Taking just a few minutes each day to stretch helps keep your joints flexible and your muscles happy, especially if you’re sitting or standing for long periods.
Your body will thank you later!

Have a blast tonight for bonfire night, but don’t forget your ears!
Fireworks can reach noise levels of 120–150 decibels, which is as loud as a jet engine and can cause hearing damage in seconds.
Whether you’re heading to a local display or celebrating at home, remember to:
-Use ear defenders or earplugs (especially for children)
-Keep a safe distance from fireworks
-Give your ears time to rest after the noise
Stay safe, have fun, and look after your hearing tonight!

Last month, we dedicated our efforts to raising money for Mind, an amazing charity that supports better mental health for everyone.
As many of you know, World Mental Health Day took place last month, where we handed out goody bags to all our staff to show our appreciation and raise awareness. But we believe that mental health isn’t just about one day, it’s something we should support every day.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity and involvement, we’re proud to share that we raised £360 for Mind!
