I am a small business providing a dedicated service for your pooch as if they were my own.

Hoochie Poochie Dog Grooming will open for business in North Berwick in April 2014 and will provide the highest quality bespoke grooming services and products to customers. As a dog owner myself, my business has come about from my desire to make the grooming process as stress free an experience as possible for both pet and owner. After looking at different grooming schools, I decided to enroll on

a professional dog grooming course at Scotlands Pet Industry Federation accredited grooming training centre where I would be taught to groom to 'breed standard' on a range of dogs and would also be taught varying 'pet styles'. I also have a Certificate in Canine First Aid so owners can rest assured that their pets are in the best possible hands. I aim to provide a service as individual as your dog and will allocate a treatment that suits their coat and skin, using the best hypoallergenic shampoos and conditioners.

Hi everyone,

Missing all you lovely lot!

A little update from me — I had very optimistically planned to be back grooming on Monday doing some smaller doggos but my body has firmly vetoed that idea 😅

I’m healing well, just not as fast as I had hoped and not quite ready for full days on my feet yet — as much as I’d love to see all your lovely furry besties, they deserve better than a slightly wobbly groomer who needs a lie down halfway through a haircut!

I completely understand this will be inconvenient (and that some of your dogs may now be entering their “wild and woolly” era 🐑 or hairy mammoth 🦣 stage so if you need to go elsewhere for a one-off groom in the meantime, I absolutely understand 🐾 It’s not what I had intended to happen but sometimes some things don’t always go to plan 🙄 and we have to make other arrangements 🙂

The aim is to come back properly healed and back to my normal routine — not rush it and end up off even longer. I will be pencilling in some dates (starting with the little ones) while I am off and be in touch with everyone individually.

I’ll keep you posted and can’t wait to see all your furry besties again soon… ideally before they start needing braids 😄

💕🐾Hey everyone,

Radio silence on the socials yet again but still been busy working away behind the scenes.
My diary has been at a bit of a standstill until I had some dates in but now I do so I can plan accordingly.
I will be off from 24 March for around 4 weeks (poss can return to wee dogs slightly earlier if I feel good) for a minor surgical procedure, nothing dramatic, just getting something sorted that’s been bothering me a while but will need to heal.
This means I will be contacting everyone directly who are booked from then to near end of April to rearrange an appropriate time.
I will be adding some extra hours in next few weeks for regulars who would like an appointment before I’m off.
Best way to contact me is to text my number as im not always on the business pages.
On a positive note, from May onwards I should be a new woman and raring to go 😂
Thank you all for your understanding and your continued support which really means a lot when you’re self employed.

Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me in my lone wolf wee business. I really do appreciate your trust and loyalty. You all enable me to do a job I love.

What a year 2025 has been. Many ups and downs for us all but we’ve made it and I feel I have a lot to be thankful for.

The loss of our beloved furry besties is a devastating time and nobody can say how you should feel or how quickly you should heal.
Our doggos are important members of the family with their sole purpose to make us humans happy, just be with us and live in the moment. Loving us more than they love themselves. They sometimes spend more time with us than any other human.
I am mindful that many of you will be having your first Christmas without your friends by your side and I my heart hurts for you all who may feel sadness and loss.
I never forget any of the dogs I am blessed to have worked with and they are always in my thoughts. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a tear or two when they have to go.

Remembering all our gone but never forgotten furry besties today and thinking of all you lovely doggo guardians.

🎅 The countdown to Santa Paws is in full swing 🎅

We are fully booked here at HP Headquarters before the big man in the red suit arrives (don’t worry, it won’t be Herb appearing down your chimney) and will only have cancellation slots, if they come about.
I may be even slower with replies and will be unable to answer new enquiries until the rush is over.
I am almost done with block bookings for next year so will send them out in due course and I will be taking a break from 23 December to 5 January.
