Our vision is to provide a high-quality visitor attraction in an area of outstanding national beauty.
We offer, contemporary casual dining in the form of an Orangery and a Grill restaurant, a children’s indoor play barn, a leisure centre and a wellness Spa. In later phases, we will offer overnight accommodation in well designed, high quality lodges which have been designed to complement the landscape and offer year-round comfort.
The accommodation will be wholly owned by us and there will be planning restrictions to avoid any long form occupancy.
Phasing
Phase 1
The first phase is the refurbishment and extension of the existing clubhouse facility.
We hope to open this element in autumn 2019
Phase 2
We are currently completing our master plan for the holiday lodges.
There has been a great deal of work done for this by our design team to ensure that our plan is the best possible one and that it will complement and respect the existing topography landscape and wildlife.
This work is approaching a conclusion and our next stage will be to submit an application to the East Lothian Council for planning in principle for the lodges. The master plan has been designed to minimise the visual and environmental impact of the scheme.
Once this consent is received we expect to commence construction of the first batch of around 10 lodges. This first batch will comprise of a mix of sizes and styles to allow us to fully explore the market.
We will then build out further phases over a number of years.
Estate Management
You will be welcome to access the property, provided you follow the country code and keep dogs under close control. This is good for the indigenous wildlife as we have had some distressing incidents with out of control dogs harassing and in some instances killing the waterfowl.
