Double-tincture, double-time ♥️🤍
I really love my Hawthorn tincture to contain both the flowering tops and the berries, so I’ve combined this season’s berries with some carefully dried flowers from Spring… whizzed it all and sent it lots of love!

I will have a complete Hawthorn tincture ready in a few weeks 🤍♥️

‘Flora & Fauna Fridays’ AKA Herb Club will be back for the autumn term, from the 21st August! 🌿☀️🐝💤

Bookable by the term, with drop-in spaces added as they become available:
☀️ Thurs P4 - P7 (3:30 - 4:30pm) 2 SPACES
☀️ Fri P4 - P7 (1:30 - 2:30pm) FULLY BOOKED
☀️ Fri P1 - P3 (3 - 4pm) *NEW CLASS*

£55 for the 7 week term.

You’re so welcome here at the Honeybee Sanctuary, where we split the time between the herb garden, bell tent and around the big table getting creative and exploring the wonderful gifts of ‘plants with purpose’.

Each week we look in detail at one plant species, and learn some recipes and remedies with it. As always, we’re guided by nature, the seasons, and local abundance while always looking to give something back in gratitude to nature.

We’ll start at the ‘beginning’ - what is a herb?

Week 1 - herbs as food
Week 2 - herbs as medicine
Week 3 - herbs as teachers
Week 4 - herbs for nature connection
Week 5 - herbs for happiness
Week 6 - herbs for dyes part 1
Week 7 - herbs for dyes part 2

I just love herb club and it’s all with huge thanks to the wonderful children for the openness and enthusiasm they always bring to sharing their insights and inspirations! I’m excited for a new year, kicking off with this new term.

This is a 4-part series of evening workshops held at in Longniddry. Take some time out to explore Reiki teachings and herbalism practices which can support self-healing and holistic wellbeing of mind, body and soul.

In part, this series offers Level 1 Usui Reiki training, and alongside this, we’ll explore supportive home herbalism relating to each weeks’ theme.

✨ Level 1 Usui Reiki training (self-healing focus) including a full set of notes;

✨Reiki I attunement each week;

✨ A specific Reiki benefit explored weekly
~ Nervous system regulation
~ Chronic stress & fatigue
~ Emotional wellbeing
~ Spiritual connection & purpose;

✨ A herbal practice aligned with the week focus

✨Reflection & discussions on the Reiki precepts

✨ Time to feel grounded and centred in a relaxed and calm space.

This is a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space, with room for questions and group sharing. Whether you’re new to Reiki and herbalism or returning to deepen or broaden an existing practice, you are so welcome.

Expect a heart-led experience, guided by both plants and energy.

I am so excited to be sharing this, it’s the weaving together of practices I find to be truly supportive, holistic, and practical even in our busy lives. There will be something that speaks to you - I’m sure of it - energy is very intelligent like that!

I tried preparing them in advance, but they lost too much vitality. I now store the carefully prepared herbs as whole as possible, and blend them only as and when you ask for them.

This ensures you get a vibrant, flavourful, fresh herbal blend for your infusions.

And I’m always open to requests for bespoke blends! My wonderfully inspiring friend Karen gifted me a glorious blend of Motherwort, Chamomile & Rose yesterday, prompting me to go deeper with these particular herbs… 💚💚💚

Mullein leaf 🤍 — to dry these lovely fuzzy leaves ready for infusions all year round (it’s amazing for chesty coughs and even deep infections like bronchitis), I like to remove the juicy, chunky midrib. This makes getting a storage-safe 💯 dried tea much easier to achieve!
