Neale Court Care Home provides residential and dementia care for thirty people. Based in North Hykeham, the newly refurbished care home features an enclosed garden, entertainment suite, hair salon and homely lounge and dining areas. Varied activities are provided along with entertainment, regular outings and day trips. Our wellbeing team supports people to continue their interests and hobbies, including arts and crafts, singing, gardening and games.

Country Courts theme of the month for January is fitness and winter sport, celebrating the Winter Olympics.

Yesterday morning Neale court went all competitive in the slalom wheelchair skiing. Despite four penalty points, for hitting the cones, Sandra won gold with a time of 1 minute 13 seconds.

Next we used our Ski yoghurts for a spot of speed ice making. Shirley took first place.
Then using our ski yoghurt pots, joint winners Margaret and Sandra built the tallest ski jump.

Pat also did a spot of curling, Neale Court style!

This morning the residents were busy making beautiful table centre pieces, using foraged greeneray and a few carnations. These are being displayed in our resident’s rooms. Margaret on the other hand, found a unique way of using some of the greenery ! We then did some prep for our Valentine wreaths . All in all a productive morning 💜

Tickets are £1 a strip, and all proceeds go towards the resident’s comfort fund.
