Have you ever been to a Sound Bath & been asked to ‘set an intention’?

In his book ‘Healing Sounds The Power of Harmonics’ Jonathan Goldman shares the formula he created:
〰️Frequency + Intent = Healing

〰️ Frequency is the sound being created.

〰️ Intent is the energy or consciousness behind the sound.

〰️ Healing is the desired outcome from the sound.

What he means is that the healing outcomes are not only related to the frequencies or notes we create.
He states that “the intention of the person working with the sound is as important as the frequency of the sound that is being projected at a person to create resonant frequency healing.”

As is the intention of the person or persons receiving the sound 🎶

How to incorporate Intention Setting in your Sound Healing experience.

〰️ Take a moment before the sound bath or 121 session to reflect on what you wish to manifest or release. Is it inner peace, emotional healing or maybe physical healing? Be very specific and sincere in your intentions.

〰️ Based on your intention, it can help to create an affirmation that resonates with you. For example, if your intention is to cultivate self-love, your affirmation could be: "I unconditionally love and accept myself”.

〰️ Keep it positive, as if it’s already your reality - If your intention is for physical healing, rather than think ‘I want my sore knee to get better’, you could try saying ‘My knee feels strong and supple and I move with ease’

〰️ Think how you will feel once your intention becomes your reality. Really allow yourself to imagine it. Engaging all of your senses. How will it feel? What will you do? What will you see & hear?

〰️ You don't need to hold the thought all the way through the sound bath - think of
it more like an instruction that once given, is remembered by your subconscious.

There’s something magical about Autumn & allowing ourselves to ‘let go’. My blossom tree has been reminding me how good it feels to ‘let go’ of all those things that are no longer in alignment with my highest good. In fact it’s almost lost all of its leaves, creating a beautiful carpet of reds, yellows & golds, whilst most others in the street are still green. I’m convinced it’s definitely trying to tell me something 🍁🍂🌳

This beautiful poem by really captures the season of letting go 🍂🍁

And so begins the season of letting go,
when Mother Nature shows us all,
how it’s done.
Let go,
free yourself,
shake it off,
drop it,
give way for the new.

Create space for new thoughts, new ideas,
new adventures and new connections,
by shedding the dead weight you’ve been
carrying around,
for so long.
And whilst you are there, being reborn and
renewed
let go of old anxieties too.
Let go of any doubts, fears or beliefs
which no longer serve you well.
Release bitterness or past hurts which
feast on your beauty.
Be brave,
Don’t fear the nakedness as your leaves slip away.
Mother Nature doesn’t,
watch and learn.

Tuning Forks, have been one of the biggest surprises on my sound healing journey. At first, I wasn’t too sure about these clinical looking metal instruments, however they have definitely become one of my favourite instruments 💗🎶

They might not be as big and flashy as crystal bowls & gongs, but they certainly are powerful 💪🎶

Using Tuning Forks for healing is a very gentle yet powerful modality that can be used to treat the mind, body, and soul, and to restore inner balance and health. It works with the nervous system, the tissues, and the more subtle energies of the body. It’s deeply relaxing and restoring and can offer long-term benefits.

They can be used to help alleviate difficult symptoms caused by:
〰️Chronic stress
〰️Chronic pain
〰️Tiredness
〰️Hypersensitive nervous system
〰️Headaches and migraines
〰️Insomnia
〰️Joint pain
〰️Cramps
〰️Digestive problems
… and much more

They’re so versatile, light weight & easily transportable. You’ll normally always find me carrying one around with me in my bag 🎶👜 It’s like having my own little first aid kit to hand whenever I need it ❤️‍🩹

It’s the Autumn Equinox 🍁, in the Northern Hemisphere & Spring Equinox 🌸 in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s the day of balance between light & dark.
Ostara Blessings to all those in the Southern Hemisphere 🌸🍁

It’s time to give thanks & show gratitude as you celebrate the riches of the harvest. It’s also time to rest & reflect on what has come to pass, letting go of all that no longer serves you & considering where you may need to forgive - whether that be yourself or others 🌾🍁

I love to honour the turning of the wheel & I genuinely love all seasons, however Autumn is definitely one my favourites 🍁🍂. I love spending time out doors, with the crisp autumn wind, the earthy aroma of the leaves on the ground & enjoying the bountiful harvest 🍎🫐 not to forget cosy jumpers 🧡🍁

As we enter Autumn, make sure your spending time outdoors, it’s good for the soul 🍁🧡

The Reiki principles are a set of five simple yet profound guidelines for living a peaceful and fulfilling life 💗

As a Reiki practitioner, I strive to
incorporate these principles into my daily
routine, and I encourage you to do the
same 💗

Here they are:
〰️ Just for today, I will not be angry.
〰️ Just for today, I will not worry.
〰️ Just for today, I will be grateful.
〰️ Just for today, I will do my work
honestly.
〰️ Just for today, I will be kind to every
living thing.

These principles remind us to stay
present in the moment and to cultivate
positive attitudes and behaviours. By
focusing on one day at a time, we can
gradually shift our habits and transform
our lives for the better 💗

So next time you’re feeling stressed or
uncertain, take a deep breath and repeat
these principles to yourself. Let them
guide you toward a more centered
mindful, and compassionate way of being.
