STOP POISONING US! 🧐😡😤
Today I am ENRAGED at the entirely unnecessary s**t they manage to add in to 99% of our cosmetic products.
Chemicals that 'disrupt' our hormones, damage our cells, mess with brain matter, liver, kidneys, skin health.
I've found this free YUKA app (and there are lots of different ones out there) that enables you to scan whatever items in your home, or that about to buy, and it tells you immediately which chemicals are contained.
It's AMAZING to empower your choices.
I'm horrified at the 'natural' 'vegan' companies I've followed for years, that include some of the worst offenders. Even Gruum, which I adore, has only 1 item (eye gel) that doesn't contain phenoxyethanol. Gutted..but now I know.
Only 2 items above, in about 20 of our everyday items, that were in the green.
Also, now that I make my own skincare products I know how easy it is to use non toxic ingredients, that also add something uniquely beneficial to the blend. So why? Cost I'm guessing, it's always about money isn't it? Always more important to them than our health...and their reputations.
But they manage this by keeping us dumb, ignorant to the stuff that's in their products, and duped by titles like 'natural' 'organic ingredients' - does not mean ALL the ingredients are organic, etc etc blah blah.

Yuka also gives you recommendations of better products, related to the item youve scanned, at the bottom of the page, so it's easier to replace with Healthier items when you need them.
