A special post about a special person here… I had the absolute privilege of treating Sam with a few different treatments to address her concerns after a super challenging year for her.

Sam has a giant cell tumour to the mandible (jawline) and has been having treatment for this, along with facial surgerues and reconstructions, over the last 18 months.

You can’t imagine the impact something like this has on the way it makes you feel about yourself and Sam openly admits that she felt self conscious of her face with everything that has been going on.

It felt truly amazing to be able to assess her face, work around her tumour and make a plan for treatment, and put that plan into place. The way this has made Sam feel about herself has been heartwarming to witness and an absolute pleasure to be able to help.

THIS…is EXACTLY why I love this job. People can turn their nose up at aesthetics and say it’s vein and unnecessary etc … but people don’t see the true reasons that people seek treatment, nor do they see the true impact it has on people and the way it makes them feel.
