Did you know, within 12 months of having a sprained ankle 1/3 of people end up having chronic ankle instability. This means you could repeatedly keep 'going over' on your ankle which could stop you from participating in your sport ๐Ÿคฏ

If you ask anybody I have played football with over the years, they will tell you how unstable my ankle were (were being the key word).

By fully rehabbing my ankles and making them strong and stable, I am able to get back playing the sport I love โค๏ธ

Our Story

Hi all! Welcome to Sports Massage And Rehabilitation Therapies (SMART). We are based in Ouseburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne in an office on Stepney Road. At SMART, all of our therapists are qualified Sports Therapists and Sports Massage Therapists from Newcastle. We have experience in both a clinical setting and with Professional/ Semi-Professional Sports Teams. We have also worked alongside teams such as Newcastle Falcons, Newcastle Thunder Rugby Team and Blyth Spartans AFC where we give/gave the first team players treatment during training, pre/post match and providing pitch side cover. We have also worked alongside University students who are trying to make it into their Countries Olympic teams in their respective sport.

However, as much experience as we have with Athletes, we also have vast experience with helping people of all ages, whether they play sports or not with a wide range of injuries and problems.

If you are training for a specific health goal and need help with advice or treatment, do not hesitate to ask us. We want all of our patients to come out feeling better than when they came in.
