This beautifully made video (not by me) explains my job. The work I do on a daily basis to help people transform ( like really!) their bodies and most important break the ‘I’ve always done it like that ‘ habit. Habits that detrimental to our bodies, health, mindset. Enjoy!

I want to address a common question I receive from students regarding the payment for block bookings at discounted rate. It goes something like that : ‘Can I book a block, then spread it over next 25 years as I will cancel, transfer and change it because will forget, find something better to do, or overslept.. ’ 😆
Jokes aside..

While I and appreciate your desire to save money, it’s important to clarify that if you choose this option, there are specific terms we must uphold.

Please understand that cancel or transfer classes are not, net, no, nein an option.

I want to emphasise that, as a business owner, I have set these boundaries to maintain the integrity of our mutually beneficial relationship .

For example, if you decide to cancel or transfer a class after paying upfront, you safe and - I lost income (particularly in times when expenses, such as rent, are rising).

To illustrate this, consider if I were to cancel a class—would you expect a refund?

I would expect to retain my earnings for the same reason: bills still need to be paid regardless of attendance.

I understand that not everyone has run a business and may find it hard to grasp these realities.
As a self-employed, business owner, I invest significant time and energy into ensuring that every class is accommodating, engaging, and tailored to various abilities.

This commitment doesn’t cease at 5 PM; in fact, it’s a 24/7 full time job. With no leave pay, illness pay or paid holidays.

it’s a continuous effort to deliver the best experience possible.

While I am happy to offer discounts for block bookings, it’s essential to honor the value of my experience and expertise. Just as you seek annual bonuses and raises to support your lifestyle, I too aim for a sustainable income to enjoy similar comforts and security.

Let’s mutually strive to be fair, kind and respectful, and appreciate our time, knowledge, and efforts.

Thank you for your support and yoga love x

To my fellow Wellbeing Professionals..

and all our students and clients !

What does it mean to be ‘on top of the game’ in well-being business?

You know, when it’s NOT your side gig but a full time 24/7 job (we don’t work 9-5.. it’s never ending when you are ‘boss babe’).

No matter where you use the word ‘Well-being,’ the meaning is a holistic state of health, happiness, and balance, which results in overall good health.

It encompasses the physical, emotional, and mental state of a person.

It means that you:

Ignore the ‘noise’
Don’t chaise
Help when you can
Appreciate other’s kindness
Stay consistent
Make time for yourself
Don’t let people ‘pick your brains’
Stay away from drama king & queens
Block, re- direct, ignore .. when it’s disruptive
Stay with ‘your vibe’

and my personal favourite…

Start work no earlier than 10am, because..

Sleep is healing

So we ( yoga teachers, Pilates instructors, PTs, coaches.. etc) have lead by our own example to earn the trust of our clients.

Well-being is not just about the absence of illness or physical discomfort but about thriving and feeling confident in various aspects of life.

Are you on top?

( hilarious) NICKNAMES my students gave me..

over the last 14 years of teaching.

It’s a testament to the vibes that arises when you mix strict discipline, touch of lululemon glam, and a sprinkle of sarcasm in a yoga studio.

So, without further ado, here’s a rundown of the titles that have graced my shining career

1. Ballet Teacher with a stick: because nothing says “I care” quite like the gentle tap of a wooden broomstick to correct your alignment in warrior 1!

2. Yoga Queen: for those moments when I ask my yogis to gracefully lift the spine when sit in crossed legs, as if they sat on the throne!

3. Bossy: I get that a lot.. title that combines the spirit of having Ukrainian accent and ‘straight talking’ skills.
Instructions are often sounds like a command rather than suggestion

4. Glam Guru: because every thing is matched even in savasana, I believe in looking fabulous. A full glam look is essential for inner peace!

5. Yoda: this one mainly for "Do or do not. There is no try." when it comes to knowledge in the studio, my students often feel their minds and body being twisted in ways they never expected.

Now, to spice things up further:

6. Contortionist: for when students trying to twist themselves into a pretzel after my demonstration, realising that it’s not humanly possible.

7. Slavic and scary: a slight contradiction, I know. I embrace the “namaste” life, but don’t let the yoga lingo fool you; I’m not afraid to call out a lack of commitment!

So here’s to my students, co creators of IYOGABODY vibe.

In a world where flexibility, alignment, and glamour coexist, it’s clear that a little sarcasm only add to the experience because if we’re not laughing while we’re bending, what’s the point? 😉

YOGA, MEAT, and the SPIRITUAL Path

Controversial! 🥩

I’m going to crash the myth of the "Perfect" vegetarian/ vegan/ pescatarian and plant powered yogi.. after 25 years of ‘I don’t eat meat’ diet.

First off, let’s address the elephant..or should we say cow in the room.

The stereotype suggests that to embody the essence of yoga, one must embracing a strictly vegetarian, vegan or whatever it is you call your diet

Believe it or not, your flexibility in the poses doesn’t correlate with your choice of protein. Or does it?

Being a "true" yogi isn't about what goes on your plate; it’s about what goes on in your mind and heart. The most enlightened people come in every shape, size, and diet plan.

Going to more in depth, why Women 40+ need meat..

Those who know me personally and my students are fully aware that I’m was in a critical state in January 2025 with such a low ferritin that I was offered a blood transfusion.

Despite not be able to even go up the stairs or walk my dog I was carry on teaching my classes, courses and training students.

I survived. Slowly but surely. Losing ‘friends’ who didn’t care or were too self absorbed. F*% # them.

I survived by starting eat meat, hangout with beautiful supportive people and make more time for myself.
I ‘escaped’ blood transfusion, but the reason why I did was the fact that physically, all my life, I was very fit, healthy and strong willed.

Now, let’s shift our focus to the fabulous women over 40+

As hormones shift and bodies change, proper nutrition becomes paramount.

Here’s why including meat in the diet can be beneficial, especially after 40:

1. Protein power: as we age, muscle mass naturally declines. Consuming lean meats is a fantastic way to maintain muscle strength, boost metabolism, and keep energy levels stable.
2. Iron game: women over 40 can experience an increased risk of anemia due to declining iron levels. Red meat, in particular, is a great source of heme iron, which is more easily absorbed by the body than plant-based iron.

3. Bones: as oestrogen levels drop, so does bone density which is osteoporosis alarm. Meat provides vital nutrients like protein, zinc, and vitamin B12, which all contribute to healthy bones. So, who says you can’t find your zen while enjoy chicken roast?

4. Mental clarity: eating meat can offer essential fatty acids, such as Omega-3s, which are crucial for brain health. Mental fog? It’s just not for me!

Eating meat doesn’t diminish one’s commitment to a yogic lifestyle; it enriches it, providing the foundation for energy, strength, and mental clarity.
So, the next time you roll out your mat, remember that true spirituality comes from within, not from your fridge.
Namaste, and pass🥩
