Spring COVID boosters are available for all patients who:
- are aged 75 or over
- are aged 6 months to 74 years and are immunosuppressed because of a health condition or treatment
- live in a care home for older adults.

If you're eligible, you should have received an invite to get your booster. If you believe that you fit the above criteria and have not received an invite, please speak to our reception team.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow weather alert for heat across the north east this bank holiday weekend ☀️🌡️

Don't forget to:
- Drink plenty of fluids and avoid excess alcohol during the hot weather 🫗
- Avoid extreme physical exertion during the hot weather. If you can’t avoid strenuous outdoor activity, try to do it during cooler time of the day such as the early morning or the evening 🏃‍♂️
- Keep your home cool by closing windows and curtains in rooms that face the sun 🪟

We have a new blood pressure machine that patients can use to monitor their blood pressure at our practice.

The machine is tucked away down one of our corridors for a quieter and private space. If you can't find it, ask a member of our reception team and they'll happily point you in the right direction.
