Here you can information on student placements and our pre-registration programme. Northumbria pharmacy offers an advanced clinical pre-reg programme covering the medical, surgical, paediatric and emergency care directorates. We also offer four weeks at the local mental health trust, three weeks in a regional drug and therapeutics centre, oncology training with the regions only consultant pharmacist and primary care experience. Our innovative and award winning pharmacy service covers a wide range of clinical areas as well as specialist services in oncology (employing the North East's only consultant pharmacist for cancer), readmissions prevention and support for frail older people in primary care.

This is an exciting new role for Northumbria and and integral position in developing this important drug monitoring service to support the mental health services for older people (MHSOP)
