Curious about the role of a Speech and Language Therapist?

Speech and Language Therapists are allied health professionals who work within the diverse area of communication, as well as eating, drinking and swallowing. This means that one therapist's work can look quite different to another, as we specialise in supporting individuals of all ages who are experiencing communication challenges.

From helping children learn to speak, to safeguarding the communication needs of those within the justice system, from aiding adults who have experienced a stroke to providing fluency therapy for a King (anyone seen The King's Speech?), our work revolves around enhancing communication skills and improving quality of life.
