As a nurse prescriber my role is not only to treat, but to assess, educate, and ensure all treatments are appropriate, safe, and tailored to your individual anatomy and medical history.

Lip augmentations will always be a firm favourite of mine. They are what we say my ‘bread and butter’.
I can’t quite believe i have been doing lip augmentations for eight years.

This lip technique gets alot of mixed press, but will always be a favourite of mine, being able to give height in places it is needed, define borders without causing the lip to protrude and keep them as flat as possible is a specialist technique and requires patience but when healed give natural full & defined looking lips.

Midface volume loss affects facial support which leads to flattening, shadowing and deeper nasolabial folds. Precisely placed dermal filler to the cheeks restores structural support, improves contour and provides subtle lift as we can see here on my patient.

M shaped lips present a unique anatomical challenge due to a pronounced central tubercle, defined Cupid’s bow peaks and relative volume deficiency through the lateral thirds.

Treatment requires detailed assessment of the patients lip proportions, muscle dynamics and structural support not just simply adding volume.

Using precise product selection and controlled placement techniques I focus on lateral support and subtle central balance to maintain natural movement and facial harmony for the patient.

The most difficult lip to treat, but i love a challange.

What a journey…

Over the past few months, we have safely dissolved years of accumulated dermal filler, allowing the lips to fully settle and the natural tissue to restore before re-treating.

After giving my patient time to heal appropriately we reintroduced a safe and controlled amount of dermal filler to refine her shape and improve balance.
Although there is some swelling immediately post-treatment as we can see, we can already see a softer, more proportionate result, with subtle elevation through the lateral lip in prder to enhance overall facial harmony.

Correcting migrated or overfilled lips requires patience, precision and a safe approach, a consultation is required prior to made sure a patient is suitable and there are no contra indications found in the patients medical history.

As we move in to March, we have some exciting changes coming for .medspa and the team.

We have 2 new professionals joining, specialists in their area, some exciting work to be completed and finally…. the long awaited reception desk should have arrived 👏🏽🤎.

BUT…

Most exciting for myself… CLINIC C training academy will be underway.
This will mean i will be taking a step back from aesthetics & skin a few days amonth a week to concentrate on finalising all the work from over the last 1.5 years to ensure i give the most informative, safe and engaging training.

Iv’e had quite a few messages over the last 10 daya asking about polynucleotides and what they do, what brand we use in clinic and if all patients are suitable.
