From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated craft gifts to our Christmas Craft Box Appeal for SCBU at NSECH.

As a family, we’re forever grateful to the incredible nurses and doctors across SCBU, NICU and PICU. The care, kindness and dedication they show to families means more than words can ever say.

We truly hope these craft boxes, made possible by your generosity, go a long way in supporting the amazing work the staff do and bringing comfort to families during some of their hardest moments. Thank you for helping us give something back.

As many of you know, my daughter Beth spent a lot of time in hospital this year. During our time in the PICU and SCBU, the nurses created diaries to document the babies’ journeys, which we now treasure.

The staff fund these diaries themselves, so this Christmas, Abby and I are putting together craft boxes to donate to the wards. If you have any unwanted, unopened paper, craft supplies, stickers, pens, or small notebooks, we’d be very grateful for any contribution.
