Please take care out❄️
Thanks to Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service for the reminder - yellow weather warning in place, so drive to conditions and check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours where you can 💙
Stay safe, Norfolk.

❄️ Please take care on the roads this evening and tomorrow, as Storm Goretti arrives in our county ❄️

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from 6pm today (Thursday) to Midday tomorrow (Friday), meaning there could be disruptions on the roads.

Please stay safe, checking the weather before you head out and driving to the conditions.

We'd love people to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours to make sure they are safe and warm too.

💙 Christmas is often when families spend more time together, and sometimes it’s when we notice changes we hadn’t before.
If you’re worried about a loved one, early support can make a real difference.

👉 Please take a moment to read this NHS post and share it, it could help someone get the support they need sooner rather than later.

And if you feel a loved one may need a little extra help at home, whether that’s companionship, reassurance, or day-to-day support, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re always happy to have a chat and offer advice.

This Christmas, look out for the symptoms of dementia, such as irritability, forgetfulness, struggling to follow a conversation, or being confused about time and place.

If you spot any of these symptoms in a loved one, encourage them to visit their GP for an assessment. http://nhs.uk/conditions/dementia/

This is such a good reminder 💜
Christmas has a funny way of showing us what’s really going on with our loved ones, often without anyone needing to say it out loud.

These simple questions can open gentle, pressure-free conversations and help families think ahead before things reach crisis point. Planning early isn’t pessimistic… it’s caring.
