Meet the Team

The Clinical Director and Founder is Annette Aldridge MSc, PGCE, RGN (NMC:87CO993E).

Annette has worked in Dermatology for over 25 years. She developed a Dermatology Nursing role initially at North West London Hospital and then relocated to a regional Dermatology Unit specialising in Photodermatology and LASER.

This was followed by working in a North London Hospital and building up a Dermatology Nursing Department from one to eleven nurses where she undertook supervision and training for nurses to undertake Phototherapy, Skin Surgery, Allergy Testing , Photodynamic Therapy, Allergy Testing, Skin Cancer Support, and Drug Monitoring. During her time there the department became the largest Skin Cancer service in London where she ended up heading up the nursing service across five sites.

Annette currently works for an NHS Trust as the Lead Nurse and joint Lead of the service. She has set up a dedicated Skin Cancer Service, and along with re-structuring the department where she has implemented dedicated paediatric, acne, biologics, and hyperhidrosis clinics. She is a adept at skin flaps and grafts as well as wound care and leg ulcer management. Annette is a recognised trainer in skin surgery and regularly teaches doctors and nurses in this advanced skill.
