Tessa Sanderson currently on GMB talking about her hearing loss and how important aftercare is once you get your hearing aids.

When you buy hearing aid from us included in the price of your hearing aids is all the aftercare, we review all of our patients every two weeks until the patient is happy, more if needed. Then we recommend 6 monthly review appointments but again it’s down to the patient, some patients we’ll see more frequently some we’ll see less, we treat every patient as an individual and work with what they need.

Fitted isn’t finished and we are very proud of our aftercare service.

So many of our patients wished they bought hearing aids from us sooner, some of the real reasons to wear hearing aids are…

Below is a really interesting article about unregulated wax removal, unfortunately there is a growing trend in people offering wax removal after a days course. This is so dangerous.

It took us 4 years to qualify as Audiologists and we have years of experience working within the NHS and private sector, always make sure the person removing your wax is fully qualified with the correct registration and insurance.

Starting the new year as we mean to go on we are back seeing patients today in Swainby then Northallerton on Monday.

Another lovely review from one of our patients, Mr Barnes started as a wax removal patient who needed hearing aids but definitely wasn’t keen. We monitored his hearing over 3 years and eventually he decided to go down the hearing aid route and is doing exceptionally well.
It can take time for some patients to accept they need hearing aids and we are here to support all of our patients while they make that decision.
