CALL WAITING TIMES..

Due to exceptionally high volumes of calls into the practice there may be a longer wait for your call to be answered.Please have patience with our Care Navigation team while they work through this pressured time.

If you have any routine requests which are not urgent for today, such as vaccination booking, test results, medication reviews etc, please can we politely ask that you call the surgery next week between the hours of 8am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday, to help reduce the wait time on the 'phones for patients who need more urgent medical assistance.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, however we appreciate your patience while we continue to provide our patients with medical services.

🦴 Free Bone Health & Fracture Prevention Talk 🦴
Mayford House Surgery is hosting a free educational seminar on how to reduce the risk of fractures as we get older.
This short, practical session is ideal for anyone aged 65 and over, or for family members who support them.
We’ll cover:
• What foods and nutrients help keep bones strong
• What types of exercise protect bone strength and balance
• What osteoporosis is - and who might need testing
👨‍⚕️ The session will be hosted by Dr Ben Ryan, GP at Mayford House Surgery.

Christmas and New Year Bank Holiday Closures

This is a reminder that the surgery will be closed on Thursday 25th & Friday 26th December, as well as Thursday 1st January.

If you require medication over this period, please remember to order it in good time to prevent any inconvenience/ delay prior to us closing at 6:30pm on Wednesday 24th December and re-opening at 8am on Monday 29th December. The surgery will also close at 6:30pm on Wednesday 31st December and re-open at 8am on 2nd January.

UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who donated, plus Chopsticks Charity for coming to the surgery yesterday for Mayford House Surgery's 25 years at the Boroughbridge site celebration.

Across both cash donations and through JustGiving, the surgery has raised £181.20 for the Chopsticks Charity in Northallerton.

Closed for Training - 19th November

The surgery will be closed from 12 noon on Wednesday 19th November and will re-open at 8am on Thursday 20th November.

If you require any emergency treatment, please attend the UTC at the Friarage Hospital, if it is life threatening, call 999.

You can continue to call the surgery for NHS111 guidance while the surgery is closed.

Mayford's 25 Years at Boroughbridge Site

Come and join us for a drink and cake to celebrate Mayford's 25 years at its current site and to raise money for Chopsticks Charity. Chopsticks Charity are also at the surgery selling their handmade goods just in time for your Christmas shopping!

Both stalls will be operating until 12 noon and we'd love to see you!
