👣 B - balance issues & dizziness
👁️ E-eyesight changes, double vision, blurred vision
🫦F - facial weakness or changes in sensation
🙋🏽‍♀️A - arm weakness or poor coordination
🗣️ S- slurred speech, unable to speak
📞 T - time to call 999 !

We’ve had quite a few new followers recently so let’s reintroduce ourselves..

👋🏽

I’m Luke and I’m a specialist occupational therapist in Neurology. I also co-own and run Northern Neuro Rehab. I’ve developed my neurological skills through working for the NHS for the last 7 years and now I also work privately, delivering specialist neurological Occupational Therapy to my clients.

🧠

I have a particular passion for stroke rehab, alongside cognitive rehabilitation. It’s great to see my clients really progress with their independence and increase their quality of life through my knowledge and skills, helping them meet their own rehab goals.

I can also provide specialist skills and knowledge in:

• seating assessments and prescription
• visual rehab
• equipment provision
• vocational rehab
• upper limb therapy

When I’m not at work I enjoy keeping fit with running, cycling and surfing. I also enjoy technology and incorporate this into my treatment methods.

We’ve had quite a few new followers recently so let’s reintroduce ourselves..

👋🏽

I’m Emma and I’m a specialist physiotherapist in neurology. I’ve worked for the NHS for over 10 years and have expanded my skills and experience to now offer private physiotherapy to clients with neurological conditions and elderly/falls problems. I also co-own and run Northern Neuro Rehab.

Some of the most common conditions I treat are:

• Stroke
• MS
• Parkinsons
• FND
• Spinal injury
• Brain Injury
• elderly/falls issues

I have a special interest in normal movement patterns and use this alongside other treatment methods to ensure I get the best outcomes for my clients. I love seeing how my clients progress and love helping them to achieve their goals.

I really enjoy learning and developing myself even further, putting the extra work in behind the scenes to attend courses and up-skill myself. Some of the additional skills I have undertaken taken include Functional Electrical Stimulation, vestibular rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, gait re-education and Bobath training.

When I’m not at work, I’m a keen surfer, snowboarder and yogi. I love being outdoors and love a travel adventure.

I look forward to meeting any new clients and any prospective business partnerships!
