💙💙💙💙 Pop-up Parkinson's Cafe 💙💙💙💙

Every third Thursday of the month, we support those with Parkinson's by holding their monthly meetings with us. It is a safe and friendly environment and welcomes anybody to join. 🤝 It may be someone who is living with Parkinson's, helping someone with Parkinson's, a family member needing more information, or many more reasons, but the group is here to help and support. 🤗 They have professionals at the meetings to provide a lot of information to take away.

Feel free to pop along, enjoy a cuppa and cake, meet new people, and gain the information you may need. ☕🍰👋

🧠 A stroke happens every 2 minutes..

📞 Know the signs and BE FAST call 999 if you experience:

👣 B - balance issues & dizziness
👁️ E-eyesight changes, double vision, blurred vision
🫦F - facial weakness or changes in sensation
🙋🏽‍♀️A - arm weakness or poor coordination
🗣️ S- slurred speech, unable to speak
📞 T - time to call 999 !

If you notice any of the above symptoms, be fast and call 999, time is key in treating a stroke!

💙 Tonight (Friday 11), Stockton Riverside, Stockton Town Centre and Newport Bridge are lighting up in blue in support of World Parkinson’s Day.
