🌟 What does “Sakya Trizin” mean? 🌟

As we continue preparing for the visit of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin to Germany, we would like to explore the meaning of his title 🙏✨

✨ “Sakya” means Pale Earth, referring to the place in Tibet where the Sakya tradition began.
✨ “Trizin” means Throne Holder — one who holds and preserves the teachings of the lineage.

Together, “Sakya Trizin” is a title of deep spiritual responsibility, referring to the holder of the Sakya throne and head of the Sakya tradition 🕊️

Through this title, we can glimpse the profound role His Holiness has carried — preserving wisdom, transmitting blessings, and guiding practitioners on the path 💛

💛 We warmly invite you to join us on this journey — each week, we will share a short post to get to know him better.

💬 This is a shared space as a Sangha. If there are topics you would like us to cover, or if you would like to share something about His Holiness, we would be very happy to hear from you in the comments 🙏💫
