Saying YES and living, loving life unapologetically 🙌✨
After three nearly grown up kids, and relationships that didn’t work out, I’ve realised something simple and powerful: “Yes” is a decision.
Not a reckless one. Not a people-pleasing one.
A rooted, soul-led I choose me kind of yes.
Because saying yes to opportunities is often an act of stepping outside those uncomfortable comfort zones. The ones that feel familiar….. but also quietly shrink you. The unknown can feel edgy, even scary, but when you start trusting your intuition (and yes, the divine nudges too), you realise the path isn’t always meant to make sense straight away, it’s meant to make you feel alive.
And here’s the part we don’t say enough:
It’s just as important to say NO.
No is not negative.
No is not selfish.
No is a boundary - a sacred one!
Saying no is how you protect your energy, your peace, your time. It’s how you stop abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. It’s how you honour that inner voice… and that gut feeling that whispers before your mind starts negotiating.
So yes, I took the opportunity to go to Fuerteventura for a few days. 🌞🌴
To catch some sun. To pause and breathe. To work from a new view. To reset my nervous system. To remember I’m allowed to expand.
Why?
Because I can. ✨
Because I’m learning to say yes to what lights me up, and no to what drains me.
Because life isn’t on pause just because I’ve been through things.
Because this chapter is about choosing joy without needing permission.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to do the thing… this is it.
Just make sure it’s a full-body yes. And if it isn’t, let “no” be your sacred protection. 🤍
