A lovely poem shared by The Counties Crematorium

At Counties Crematorium last week, we heard some truly beautiful poems shared during services. The one that seemed to resonate most, was “She Is Gone”, by David Harkins. Its words capture both love and remembrance, offering comfort in moments of loss.

Abington Funeral Services has a wide range of services we provide to help you, Family and friends say goodbye to the one they love.
With this in mind there is a lot of interest in whats called "Direct Cremations" and we are helping provide a local cost effective Direct Cremation option.
Many national companies now charge upwards of £1,395 for a Direct Cremation but we have managed to help keep the cost of this service low at an amazing price of just £880-00 (Fully Inclusive of Cremation and coffin Fee). We do not charge anymore for collecting your loved one either from a local hospital or local home address within a range of 15 miles from Northampton. There is also no extra charge for this collection 24 hours a day helping to keep the costs down.
When selecting a company to provide a Direct Cremation service you must make sure that they include all of this because many do have hidden charges.

I'm not saying we're the florist to the celebs but pretty chuffed to have been asked to supply the flowers for the backstage areas and dressing room for Mr rocket man himself Elton John when he preformed at the cricket ground and various other celebs who have starred at the Royal and Derngate and had our flowers appear on channel 4's Come Dine with me....but not as proud as we are that so many of you have choosen us to be a part of the happy and sad occasions in your lives. Our all new Direct Cremation Package....
All of us at Abington Funeral Services realise what an upsetting and daunting time it is arranging a funeral not only for your loss of a loved one but also the funeral costs.
Thats why we have put together a package for a Direct Cremation service at a price of £999 including the cremation fee.
This service is very simple and is used for a Cremation only service with no-one attending a funeral service.
We know this kind of service isn't for everyone's taste but sometime's it is, It may also be a necessity and thats why we feel we should be offering this to the people who need it.
