Hacking with the main man and treating some lovely horses - one of which I didn’t get any photos 🙈 All of which enjoyed some fascial tissue work, gentle massage applications, limb mobilisations and some laser therapy 😎

Started off with lots of stretching and suppling work to get Hugo back into the swing of things. Followed by a treatment for Harli.

However Rose really enjoyed her treatment this evening showing lots of great releases 😴
Rose was holding a lot of tension through her fascial tissue so I focused on some myofascial release using various therapies.

During your horses’ treatment you may see releases such as lowering of the head, licking, chewing and yawning. All of these releases are important signals. But as a therapist but I am also feeling for any changes beneath my hands and the horses skin. E.g. Any changes to the texture or temperature of the skin and the underlying structures. I will also be looking for postural changes thrughout the treatment which show that areas of tension are releasing and the horse is becoming more comfortable in their body.

Harli enjoyed his monthly maintenance massage today. Regular treatments help to keep those muscles supple and healthy 💪🏻

A treatment for the lovely Buxton today. His owner had noticed some behavioural changes under saddle. Upon assessment he was very tight through his neck, back and hindquarters. He enjoyed some gentle massage techniques, fascial tissue work and some laser therapy.
Hopefully he should be feeling a lot more comfortable after some big releases 💪🏻
