Remaining in your own home for as long as possible with the support of our Angels. Visiting Angels is the fastest growing care at home business in the UK currently. Visiting Angels was founded in America in 1989 and has now grown into 5 other countries across the world, built upon wanting more choices for families and options for the individual. Our mission is to become the Employer of Choice, within our industry, by the end of 2022. We believe that treating carers extremely well will ensure that our clients receive the best version of themselves and hence the highest quality care. We know that our caregivers are brilliant, loving, professional people doing amazing work in the community. Too often, homecare workers are under appreciated and undervalued but at Visiting Angels we put caregivers at the forefront of our business to make sure they can deliver a truly person-centred care. Visiting Angels have a much higher retention rate of staff than the industry average which helps to ensure continuity and consistency of care for our clients. Our passion is to increase standards within adult social care and raise the status of working in care, to be the vitally important and fulfilling role that it most certainly is. We are working hard to realise our dreams for the business and would love to have you join us as an Angel companion. Visiting Angels is a carer-centric organisation. This means that we place the the well-being of our carers first. The question "What will this mean for our carers?" is the most important factor in any business decision made. If a decision is not in the best interests of our staff then we will not implement it. Visiting Angels' pay is higher; we pay travel time and a mileage allowance for using your own car; we guarantee a 5% pay increase each year to reward loyalty; provide full initial paid face to face training, rather than online courses - the Visiting Angels Academy; we have a minimum of one hour visits at the key times in a client's day; we ensure, wherever possible, that you support and care for the same clients; provide a company mobile phone; valet your car each 6 months and a car service each year; your birthday off work; ongoing personal development plans and CPD which makes sure that we allow people to develop. It is about our work culture and workplace environment that puts the wellbeing of our staff and clients at the forefront of what we do: it is about making the difference. Visiting Angels has been providing care across the world for 20 years. Our business has been built on recruiting, training and supporting the very best caregivers and enabling them to deliver premium quality care. We know that our caregivers are brilliant, loving , professional people doing amazing work.

Too often care workers are under appreciated but at Visiting Angels we put carers at the centre of our business to make sure they can deliver a truly person-centred service to you. We believe it is wrong that the people entrusted with looking after you and your family should be expected to do so for minimum wage. At Visiting Angels we pay carers more to reflect the outstanding job that they do supporting our clients needs.

Our caregiver choice initiative ensures that you will able to choose a caregiver who suits you. Once you have built a bond with the carer, our caregiver rewards programme means they should stay with you for the long term. At Visiting Angels we look after the caregivers so that they can look after you.
