The time has come to retire.

I have been running the Langham Place Foot Clinic for 42 years and would like to thank you all for your constant support.

It has been my absolute pleasure to meet and treat the people of Northampton, sometimes 3- 4 generations of the same family!
And I will truly miss your contact.

Thankfully Sean , my nephew will carry on the clinic and it will be relocating to the beautiful Delapre Abbey Northampton- and be known as
- The Delapre Abbey Foot Clinic.

Appointments will be available there from 22 April and the same Telephone number ( 01604 630649) and website will continue to be used.

Sean will look after you all for the next 40 years!

A little poem from one of our lovely patients Gerald Claridge-

Ode to Langham Place Foot Clinic

If your feet are in a right old state,
And it’s a problem you can’t face,
Get along to Sheila Kirwan’s,
At number 6 Langham Place.

She’s very sympathetic
If your feet are really sore,
She’s such a great podiatrist,
She’s seen it all before.

Hikers, dancers, joggers,
And protesters on their marches,
Bunions, corns, arthritic joints,
Cracked heels and fallen arches.

Verrucas, blisters, athlete’s foot,
And fungal nail infection,
She’ll diagnose conditions
That have, thus far, escaped detection.

She’s worked on every kind of foot
In a multitude of sizes,
(She’s seen feet shaped like vegetables
That at shows would win first prizes).

If you cannot cut your toenails,
Or your scissors aren’t that tough,
Let Sheila do your dirty work,
When you have had enough

She’s thorough and holistic,
Your health is quite a biggie,
She’ll make sure you’re doing fine,
Along with every little piggy.

So take up Sheila’s expertise
And ring for an appointment,
She’ll do the very best for you,
(You might even get some ointment).

But seriously she’s excellent,
Try not to be a cynic,
Go and give your feet a treat,

Our lovely receptionist Mary Leeming ( a ceremony officer in her spare time) marrying my daughter Clare at Towcester Registry Office

She made it such a personal occasion for them for the legal bit.
