🎶💃 A wonderful afternoon of live entertainment! 💃🎶
We were delighted to welcome the very talented Lesley Ann and Katie, who treated our ladies and gents to a fantastic performance of all our old favourites 🎤
The atmosphere was full of joy as everyone enjoyed a toe-tapping afternoon of singing along, clapping, and even a bit of dancing! 😊 There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and lovely moments shared throughout 💛
A big thank you to Lesley Ann and Katie for bringing such energy, music, and fun to our home — it truly made the afternoon special 🎶✨

🐾💛 A very special visit this afternoon! 💛🐾
We were delighted to welcome the very happy, waggy-tailed Gertie and her chatty, smiley human Gaynor to spend time with our ladies and gents 😊
Gertie absolutely loved all the attention and cuddles – and it’s safe to say the feeling was mutual! There were so many smiles, laughs, and gentle moments shared 💕
Gertie even joined in with the singers, happily giving out cuddles while Lesley and Katie sang “How Much Is That Doggy in the Window” – a truly heartwarming moment that had everyone smiling 🎶🐶
Visits from dogs and other pets bring so many wonderful benefits. They can help lift mood, reduce stress, encourage conversation, and create a real sense of comfort and companionship. It’s amazing how a wagging tail can brighten everyone’s day 🐾✨
We’re already looking forward to Gertie’s next visit!

We’re having a proper big knees up today with a tipple or two to celebrate St Patrick’s Day! 🥂
There’s been lots of fun party games, tasty snacks, delicious cupcakes, and of course our special “leprechaun juice” keeping the celebrations going. 🧁🍹
With Irish music playing and everyone in great spirits, it’s been a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of smiles. 🎶💚

🍀 Tuesday: Join us for a St Patrick’s Party in the Pub at 2:00pm – expect fun, laughter and a great atmosphere!
☕ Friday: Celebrate Red Nose Day with our Coffee Morning at 11:00am in the Tearoom.
🎬 Wednesday Evening: Relax at our Movie Evening in the Cinema at 6:30pm.
🧩 Saturday: Enjoy Quiz & Drinks in the Pub at 2:00pm.
🎥 Sunday: Wind down with an Afternoon Movie in the Cinema at 2:00pm.

Alongside these events, we also have daily activities such as flower arranging, carpet bowls, bingo, ball games, book club, mindful colouring, and one-to-one time with residents.

We’re looking forward to a week full of smiles, conversation, and great moments together! 💐

📚 Book Club at Timken Grange 📚
Our Book Club has now reached chapters 7 and 8, and everyone is really getting into the story! There have been lots of great discussions, thoughts, and guesses about what might happen next. 😊
Our residents are now excited for the next session to see what’s in store as the story continues. It’s wonderful to see everyone enjoying the book and sharing their ideas together.
A lovely way to spend time together with a good story and great company. ☕📖

🚗 A Trip Down Memory Lane ☕
Today we spent some lovely time reminiscing together, looking through books filled with old motor cars and car history from the 1940s to the 1970s. It sparked lots of wonderful memories and stories from years gone by. 📚
Our residents enjoyed sharing their memories of the cars they once owned, drove, or admired, while enjoying a good chit chat over a nice cup of tea. Sometimes the best conversations come from looking back at the past together. 😊
A lovely, relaxed time remembering the good old days and the cars that travelled those roads.
