We had a wonderful time at Phonics Club today learning some tricky words.

I told the children the story of The Gingerbread Man with puppets and actions then they found the Gingerbread words and wrote these in glitter then on paper. Obviously, we need to be properly dressed for Phonics!

Starts tomorrow. Spaces available

Inspired by 'Picasso's 'Bouquet of Peace ', the children are going to have the opportunity to use polymer clay to make hand prints to wrap around glass and oven bake We will also make beautiful flowers using buttons and wire.

This activity will tale place over two sessions.

When I began LIF at Billing Garden Village , my dream was always far bigger than 'just' teaching. I wanted to build a community and bring providers and families together. The Home Ed community, of which I feel part of, is truly amazing and at LIF we truly are a community.

With this in mind, I am keen to see if there is enough interest to form a Friends of LIF. Similar to a PTA without the red tape!!

We could achieve anything you wanted but here are sone ideas....

🔵 Parents could use LIF as a meet up venue when it's empty.

🔵 We could fundraise fpr particular equipment that might make sessions even better or more inclusive.

🔵 We could collect the 'junk' I need or collect things from free pages which would save my budget for resources ( and heating!)

🔵 We could arrange speakers and events

🔵 Possibly hold family meet ups at weekends.

🔵 Tidy up?!

🔵 Provide refreshments at events

What do ypu think. I sort of need some behind the scenes help to keep all the plates spinning!!!

The Wonder Studio is the brain child of Raksha, a highly skilled and all round amazing human
Raksha pours her heart into every detail and creates a day which your child won't forget.

On Saturday, the children decorated demin backpacks and pencil cases, made beautiful charm pins, had their faces painted, a Pancake stand visited and the party finished with a visit from Rumi from KPOP!! Every thing so the parent can just enjoy.

Everyone on the team at The Wonder Stuidio is very experienced, qualified and DBS cleared.
