No one goes to work to be assaulted - least of all our medical team.

Unfortunately the other week one of our staff was assaulted by a member of the public and despite the best efforts of the police the Crown Prosecution Service has said there is insufficient evidence to prosecute despite witnesses.

Ambulance Rescue Limited takes its staff safety seriously so we have invested in HALOS Body Cameras for our staff to document acts of violence and aggression.

We got introduced to HALOS at the The Emergency Services Show in 2022 and then saw them last year in 2025 and at the Professional Security Officer Live show.

We looked at other solutions and felt that HALOS met our needs in terms of functionality and cost.

You will be seeing these deployed at our higher risk events and worn by our Operational and Tactical Commanders to document command decisions in real time as part of our preparation for the upcoming Terrorism Protections of Premises Act (Martyns Law) as well as deploying the IEMC consultancy books.

An excellent day at The Chester House Estate today supporting Medisec ltd deliver their L3 First Aid at Work course.

Chester as a North Northamptonshire council property takes the first aid they provide to their customers very seriously and so the health and safety and site managers took the magnanimous step to go above and beyond to ensure their staff are trained to deal with any eventuality,

We provided scenarios based experiential learning for a series of first aid scenarios with ambulance hand overs, and simulated calling 999 moving through the entire process including assisting ambulance crews, basic life support and epi-pen/anaphylaxis scenarios and many more.

I want to thank our instructors for their fantastic training as well as Ben from Medisec for playing the scarily believable anaphylactic patient!

What a fantastic three days it's been!

Our training team had a brilliant time at The Chester House Estate, delivering a comprehensive First Aid at Work course to their amazing staff.

Ambulance Rescue has staff and a 4x4 Response vehicle, 4x4 Ambulance and Incident support unit available on Sunday the 27th of July.

We also have two EMTs, ECAs and a paramedic available for national deployment.

Well what a wet weekend!

We provided cover in support of two providers in Reading and Dorset! (When we say we cover the WHOLE of the UK we mean we really do mean it!)

We provided a 4x4 RRV to an equestrian event in Dorset and technician crew plus our RRV and Hospital In a Box (HIB) deployed to a FatLads rugby 7s event in Reading.

We would like to give praise to our crews who were kept busy with multiple patients and a special thank you to the very pleasant crew from South Central Ambulance Service for attending despite the considerable operational pressures evidenced by the delay.

We are set in Oundle for Party at the Wharf 2025!

Ready to welcome the part goers who are ready and raring to go!

We have deployed our ever capable HIB (Hospital in a box) in its very low key form today with a small treatment area for minor injuries and our 4x4 ambulance for more complex care.

Both vehicles carry extensive equipment to cater to the full range of patients.

We have a technician lead crew on this event with an Emergency Care Assistant and two first responders to keep our clients customers safe.

A lovely day for our crews - We deployed two first responders in support of a private and very secret squirrel music event in partnership with Code 9 Security in Hampshire, three staff at The Chester House Estate for Roman Fest 2025 where we had amazing reception from the crowd - plus we deployed a two of our regular first responders in support of Misg for an BMX event in Milton Keynes - Oh and another over night event in Leicestershire!

It has truly been an epic weekend for the team at Ambulance Rescue Limited - We have provided just under 120 hours of event medical cover across 4 counties - Plus a very tired operations manager having to manage multiple events and last minute bookings and providing operational support plus a massive thanks to Andy the ACP on the clinical advice line!

A very busy weekend for AR from our events team.

On Friday we provided two staff in Hampshire providing cover for a small festival, A solo FREC4 at a nightclub event in London, staff out on filmsets and received two request for emergency bariatric services in London and the Midlands extricating two patients to hospital.

Today we have two more staff in Hampshire, staff on multiple events across Northamptonshire.

We also provided some BLS training to a care home in Cambridgeshire for over 30 staff.

With our current work load being so busy - and to avoid requiring NHS resources freeing them up to respond to other calls we have deployed an EMT and operational commander on a Rapid Response Vehicle to provide cover across the county on all of our events to back up the teams if needed and support our complex extrication teams.

With one back up request already the day is young and our team are on until midnight tonight.

Tomorrow a slightly more peaceful day with staff deployed at Chester House in Northamptonshire for a Roman themed historical event.

Ambulance Rescue is getting busier by the week and we are currently recruiting for all grades of staff to fill our ever growing roster of events.

Another busy week for the team at Ambulance Rescue!

Supporting 3 providers this week with cover on a secret squirrel project in South London, Bariatric support to a PTS services in East London as well as Rothwell confirmation on the Monday - Another secret squirrel music event in the south central area - plus popping down to the Blue Light show at Olympia and getting to be invited to the industry leaders forum - which was an honour and a treat.

Our Ranger has had its 6 weekly checks completed and a little routine maintaince and we delivered some training on medications awareness and management of tracheostomies.

We deployed staff again in support of EMATS at Northampton Cricket and at a star light walk today and Tommorow another secret squirrel event in Leicestershire.
